Here’s a 5 minute video of the May Day ride’s start at Mitchell’s Modesto Harley-Davidson. Approximately 250 riders and their motorcycles showed up to support the Stanislaus County Peace Officers Memorial, as well as the families of local officers Sgt. Steve May (Modesto PD), Earl Scott (CHP), & Howard Stevenson (Ceres PD), all murdered in the line of duty. Motor officers from Modesto, Stan County, Turlock, and Oakdale escorted the riders from Modesto HD into Oakdale and the Grace Church for a bbq, music, and raffle prizes. This also marked MPD Officer Tom Wilcoxson’s last May Day run as he plans for retirement.
