Message to the non preppers

I just want to let everyone know that survivalists & preppers are normal people & prepping is not any different than someone having a retirement account. It’s no different than having a spare tire and jack in the trunk of your car.

I try to make this point to people who call me crazy for prepping: “But you’re a prepper too! You purchase and maintain car insurance, home insurance, life insurance, insurance against theft of your ‘stuff’, insurance against natural disasters like flood-fire-tornado-earthquake, your vehicle has a spare tire, your house has extra fuses/breakers/air filters…Why not have some food/water/cold weather ‘insurance’?”…Nobody has had any response to my question yet.

In Hawaii we have lots of fresh water, and vegetation. I spend a lot of time learning about plants. I use to grow ??? and I live in the jungle for months at a time. Sometime people come into the jungle to look for plants to steel and get lost until they hear a car on a road. I have a stainless steel S&W 357mag and I keep tons of 38+P because it’s cheep and the jungle is very dense. It took me years to learn what I know. My jungle where I live is a trap, and people who enter are a food source.

Like my Granpappy, God rest his soul, used to say: “It is better to have and not need, than to need and not have”.
